The Nintendo Wii’s animations are smoother than the GameCube’s but the graphics appear identical to the GameCube.

Jobs in the video game industry vary widely from job to job and company to company.

Programming jobs seem to pay less and less every quarter, because of a glut in programmers, foreign outsourcing, and 3rd party game engines. Marketing jobs are modest-to-good. Pay for artists and musicians can be low-paying to very high-paying, depeinding on skill. Designers and managers generally make good money.

Salaries are usually negotiable, too, so if you’ve got a silver tongue, you can sometimes earn a lot more than your peers.

If you’re just breaking in with limited education or industry experience, you could be earning just about minimum wage or nothing with some internships.

Starting salaries for most people with a degree or some experience are in and around $ 20k – $ 30k.

People with a lot of industry experience can sometimes net upwards of $ 70k, benefits, profit sharing/stock options, and other perks.

People who make a real impact in the industry can make millions.

Wii was never intended to compete graphically with Xbox or PS3 the aim was for fun, group type games not state of the art graphics. I think Nintendo will continue to focus on this group rather than graphics.

no Nintendo’s next system wont have graphics like 360 or ps3 the truth is nintendo systems have always been for kids i mean there are some M games but very few and as we all know the kids play the animation unrealistic and non lifelike graphic games

if you want one that has graphics like the ps3 and 360 then i suggest you buy one of those systems instead of living in the past with Nintendo

I think that nintendo will change and try to get back in the race with Sony and Microsoft. I never liked the wii because of the gameplay and graphics. It had really choppy, 90′s graphics.

No. The Wii was meant for fun and is mostly used in gatherings of family and friends, where graphics take a back seat every time. Sony and Microsoft will continue to push their systems to the max and since Nintendo is way behind in graphics, it would take a monumental leap in processing power to compete in that respect.

People don’t give the Wii enough props when graphics come up into the picture. Sometimes, games have fantastic graphics on the wii, to the point where someone might be like lolwut that’s on the Wii? Metroid and Mario Galaxy come to mind.

BUT! High Voltage is coming with a game this year, and they were determined to push the Wii’s graphical limits, their goal was basically to come out with Halo on the Wii. The game is called “The Conduit” and it’s a Halo style fps with either near to or as good as a 360 graphics.

On par with 360 and PS3? Probably, becuase that level of hardware won’t be expensive then, and Nintendo has already said their next system will feature HD graphics.

But by then, the NeXtBox and PS4 will be coming out, so it will still have “outdated” graphics.

I’ve heard about the next “Wii” console that is supposedly going to be released in a few years, and as far as I know, it’s going to be a lot better graphics, control, and memory-wise.
