Query by Frankie: Is there any accessory for the Nintendo Wii to connect a SNES controller?
I do not like the classic controller mainly because it eats batteries. I’d rather have a long corded SNES controller. Does any individual know of any way of connecting a SNES controller to the Nintendo Wii?

I have not tested it and it costs about the same as a Classic Controller, but there are adapters for NES and SNES controllers.

There is none, but you can write to nintendo and see if they can/will develop it. They probably won’t listen to you, but hey, its either that or buy a classic contoller.

No, but you can by a Wii Remote charger. It recharges your Wii Remote so you don’t have to worry about batteries. They cost about $ 20 for a pack of two at your local retailer.

no, but i’m pretty sure they make wii controllers with wires. if not,
invest in some rechargeable batteries and a charger. i just leave mine plugged in all the time and when im ready for some fresh batteries, they’re there ready for me.
